Someone sent me a .pub file and I can't open it

A .pub attachment was made in Microsoft Publisher, a Windows-only program that most people never had — and one Microsoft retires on October 1, 2026. Nothing on a normal PC, Mac, phone or Chromebook opens it out of the box.
